This is a beautiful example of a primitive or early settlement food cupboard. Constructed in the crudest form from floor boards and packing cases by a bush carpenter. The cupoard has 3 internal shelves, single door, 4 beautiful long legs. The top  section has a splash board which enhances its simple form and painted cream, which was the colour recommended in settlers handbooks. A collectors piece. C 1870. Price $420.00.
